2017 P.E.S.A. Conference

The Philosophy of Education Society of Australasia (PESA) will be held 1-5 December 2017 at The Crowne Plaza (Honeysuckle) in Newcastle, Australia. On Friday 1st December 2017 a pre-conference Public Panel Discussion “Why Teach Philosophy or Ethics In Schools?” will be held. Joe Gelonesi, the ABC Radio National presenter from The Philosopher’s Zone will facilitate the recorded panel discussion and panel members will include Dr Laura D’Olimpio (FAPSA chair), CEO of Primary Ethics NSW, Ms Leonie Johnson, Professor Sandra Lynch, Director of the Institute of Ethics and Society at the University of Notre Dame, and Dr Janet Orchard, University of Bristol, UK.
